OPSK Software

opsk screenOPSK is a Python application to automate some HF digital operations, especially PSK31, with the Ten-Tec Orion transceiver.

The program uses TKINTER for the user interaction. This is the "traditional" GUI used with Python applications. It also uses the pyserial module for transceiver interaction.

The current version is mainly used for frequency and bandwidth controls. The user can select the standard PSK31 frequencies in various bands, then select the desired bandwidth and position the lower edge of the bandpass. In conjunction with a waterfall display, this lets you "zero in" on a PSK signal of interest in a convenient way.

Note: This program has largely been superseded by oFilter.py. (Oct., 2007)
